FAQ’s for Senior Portraits

At this meeting, we will show you location possibilities, give you clothing tips, and learn a little about you to customize your session to your individual needs. How do I choose locations?

We have current galleries of possibilities that we’ll show you at your consultation. Is there someplace special that shows your personality? Great! Tell us about it! We also have a blog of possible locations.

How do I choose my clothes?

We’ll give you all kinds of suggestions at your consultation. The possibilities are endless. Here are some ideas on our Pinterest page for Boys or Girls. Keep in mind that these are inspirational ideas, but they are not all our work.

What if I have a blemish?

No big deal. Skin can be cleaned up easily in Photoshop, and we don’t charge to touch ups. However, it’s a good idea to wear sunscreen prior to your session, so your skin isn’t peeling or sunburnt. 

How should I do my makeup?

Our preference is to keep it simple. Powder is great to reduce shine, and matte makeup photographs better (aviod glitter in your eyeshadow and cheek color). Lip gloss photographs well, and it’s good to have some along with you. If anything, emphasize your eyes. We can also get you in touch with a makeup artist for your session. It’s frequently less costly than purchasing a bunch of makeup products that you’ll never use again.

Can I bring my _______? 

Pet, girlfriend, best friend, sports equipment, musical instrument, collections… Yes!! Yes!! Yes!!

We’re on a budget. How can I reduce the cost? 

Good question. We have several options to reduce your investment.

1. Schedule your session with a friend to cut the sitting fee in half.
2. Schedule your session for June or July to get our Early Bird discounts.3. Refer a friend- you’ll get a $25 Visa card for each referral.

When do I get to see my pics?

We’ll schedule your session for about a week after your portraits are taken to view your images and choose your prints. All of the decision makers need to be at this session to make these choices. It will feel great to cross this off of your Senior To Do List!

What if we can’t decide?

Our job is to guide you through this process. We’ll choose your favorites and compare them until you’ve chosen the perfect prints for all of your needs.

How do I submit my image to the yearbook?

We’ll take care of that for you as a complimentary benefit.
